teaser weekend

Dixie Pixel’s first ever Teaser Weekend has come and gone. 5 lovely ladies participated in a day of pampering and intimate photography. Miss Hollie did Miss Christina did an incredible job with hair and make-up. THANK YOU! Since the ladies have seen their photos, I’ve gotten some amazingly humble feedback:

“I LOVE THEM! I thought I would have a hard time picking 10 that I like because I am usually so critical of myself in photos but I love them sooo much and I am having a hard time deciding which ones I like the best! I am so happy that I did this and I can’t wait to give it to (my fiance), he is going to freak out. Thanks again!!

“I am still enjoying the high of feeling like the hottest chick in the world so thanks for that. This really has given me some confidence that I have never felt before and it makes me want other women to feel just as good. I think I am going to become an activist for women to do this because it really is just amazing. I am so glad to hear you are going to keep doing these because you really did change me… I think you may have just fixed twelve years of body issues that simply come along with being a woman in this crazy world. I have never felt so comfortable in my skin as I do today and I wanted you to know you were a huge factor in that. Look at you… changing people’s lives with your work!”

I will be straight up honest that I wasn’t fond of the idea of “boudoir” photography. But after this teaser weekend, I’m rather hooked. It’s not dirty, it’s celebrating the loveliness of woman–and I’ll be damned, does wonders for a woman’s self esteem (and I guess enjoyment for the man-folk too). There will be more teaser weekends in the future, but my schedule is crazy booked until the middle of this summer.
