The film FINALLY came in! I had a couple of Holga’s working their wedding. Wes Hope was snapping away on his plastic camera, and the majority of the black and white images are his (I honestly can’t remember which ones, so let’s just say the “good” ones are his

Finally, their day after photos! After Tim and Kate’s wedding, we did the only INSANE thing to do–go back into the tourist trap known as Cades Cove on a holiday I’ve got a serious love/hate for Cades Cove. I love love love the scenic backdrops, but I am not a patient person, and the one-way 11 mile road at 10 mph literally takes all day! However, I must say, that it was worth it. We had to bust some butt to get out of Cades Cove to get them to their reception on their wedding day, so there was really no time for portraits of the 2 of them in the park. The perfect solution: a day after session. We got some beautiful afternoon sun, which provided killer light for our session. And of course, we shot into the night after the sun went down. Kate was my first 2 dress brides, she wore a modern gown for their ceremony, but for the reception she donned her Grandmother’s wedding gown, from the 1940′s. Isn’t it beautiful?
