interviewed x2

It’s just crazy.   That pink-haired beauty in the last photo is Kat Williams.  She’s the face behind Rock ‘n Roll Bride.  Kat was recently honored with a monthly article in Pro Photo (Uk) Magazine.  The cool part, Kat gets to write about whatever her heart desires.  I was so incredibly honored when she emailed me, asking to feature my HOLGA photography in the December issue.  I’m still in love with the Holga images I captured at Josh & Jude’s wedding back in March of 2009, which are featured with the article.  Here’s Kat’s post on the article:  Rock ‘n Roll Bride as well as the entire text from the issue.

I have been running all over Knoxville today, and didn’t get to my email until this afternoon.  As I opened the newsletter email from the DWF, I found that my interview has been published on their blog today.

It’s honest.  Very honest.  And by the time I had read it for the first time, the comments on the blog really, REALLY humbled me.  People are so nice, and they don’t have to be.  Read it here:  DWF

christmas in the smokies

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in a cabin in the Smokies.  The wind nearly blew us off the mountain, but that was the only negative.  Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

happy halloween!

1009-4225

It rained all day, and it didn’t look to good for trick or treating.  But, the rain finally went away just in time for the trick or treaters to arrive in our neighborhood.  The view of the rainbow from my front yard was pretty sweet.  It’s about time a rainbow followed the rain here.  I think this is the first time I’ve ever blogged right after taking the photos . . . I couldn’t wait to show off the babies.  Boru hasn’t stopped talking about Wolverine, and of course, it was his first choice for a costume this year . . . as well as every other little boy in Knoxville.  We waited to long to buy one, so we assembled one that was oh-so much better than anything in the store.  Hugh Jackman ain’t got nothin’ on Boru Kneiser.  And my Odelia!  How cute is my little flower?? She’s such a poser.  Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween!1009-42321009-42381009-42411009-42431009-42461009-42471009-42481009-42501009-4251
