I left for Nebraska last Monday. Southern Weddings Magazine hit the stands right after I left. I searched all over the great plains, but to my dismay, I couldn’t find a copy anywhere. I got back into Tennessee late last night, and after I dropped Boru off at pre-school this morning, I went to 3 different locations before I found it at Books A Million. It took a lot of personal restraint not to run to the back of the store . . . but with the utmost composure, I found a copy and grinned ear to ear as I flipped through the magazine. The WONDERFUL editors at Southern Weddings loved Brian & Carrie’s super awesome-o wedding so much, they featured it in their magazine!! Um, yay! THANK YOU!
Thankfully, my mom and dad have a less than par internet connection, so I couldn’t sneak peaks from all of the other wedding vendor’s blogs. I really wanted to see it with my own eyes first.
Brian and Carrie–thank YOU for having the ultimate Southern Wedding. I emailed Carrie letting her know that the magazines were available on the shelves. I had to laugh at her reply: “My mom and Curry’s mom pre-ordered like 15.
” I love you guys!
If you want to see the spread, go pick up a copy! For any bride, this is like an inspiration bible. So many pretty pretty things! I get serious wedding envy every time I thumb through it. Can I get a re-do?
Oh, and be sure to read all 61 ways to have a Southern Wedding. I put in my two cents:
